Please join us in continuing to support
Historic Cold Spring Village’s dedication to
preserving 19th century history and culture! We
could not have made it 26 years without your
generous assistance.
Since 1981, Historic Cold Spring Village has
been an important part of the Cape May County
and Southern New Jersey landscape. We have been
presenting history, education and culturally
enhancing programs to both local residents and
visitors from near and far, and we’d like to
continue for years to come.
The Village began with the idea of preserving
historic buildings primarily from Cape May
County and one from Cumberland County. In 2007,
we were able to restore Coxe Hall Cottage, c.
1691, thought to be one of the oldest surviving
structures in South Jersey. Achievements in
preservation such as this would not be possible
without the involvement of our friends and
community. With your help, the Village has
developed into an interesting and exciting place
for both adults and children to learn about the
trades, crafts and lifestyles of ordinary people
living in Southern New Jersey during the early
to mid-1800s. For the past 26 years, we’ve made
a personal connection between the past and
present by offering interactive, educational and
hands-on family experiences.
It is a continuing challenge, but our
historic buildings, artifacts and educational
programs survive, in part, because of the
private gifts from people such as you. We urge
you to consider giving to Historic Cold Spring
Village this year. Your gift today will help
ensure that we can continue to not only
preserve, but help us to continue our mission of
preservation, education and heritage tourism.
